Family Movie Review: Moana

Tonight’s pizza and movie night is Moana! It takes us on the journey of Moana as she becomes curious about the ocean. Moana is the daughter of the village chief and next in line to be leader of their village. This movie is about Moana's journey to find herself and save her village!

Directions:

  1. Lay out your Nilla Wafers

  2. In a separate bowl, add green food coloring to your vanilla icing

  3. Spread the green icing on the top of the Nilla Wafers

  4. Take your Green Writing Icing and make the swirl (Heart of Tafiti) symbol in the middle of the cookie

  5. You're all set!

Tonight’s pizza and movie night is Moana! Moana is the daughter of the village chief, next in line to lead and very curious about the ocean beyond the reef.

The village starts to find that their island is in trouble. Around this time, Moana finds out her people were voyagers and that the ocean has chosen her to restore the heart of Tafiti. Moana's Grandmother gives her the Heart of Tafiti, which she must voyage across the sea, find the demi God Maui, and return the heart.

Moana finds Maui, and although they need to get used to one another, the become an unstoppable team. They find the island of Tafiti (or where it used to be) and after many challenges, they come together and restore Tafiti’s heart.

This movie is a great feel good movie and a great family movie option!
