Family Movie Review: Trolls

This weeks pizza and movie night is a fan favorite in our house - Trolls!

Trolls is about a community of colorful, happy trolls that laugh, hug and sing all day. However, they have a huge problem. The kingdom of Bergens believes that they can only achieve happiness by eating a Troll.

The Trolls go into hiding and keep themselves safe until one night when Princess Poppy decides to throw the biggest, loudest party ever. Which catches the eye of one of the meanest Bergens.

Poppys friends are captured and taken back to Bergen town for “Trollstice”. A celebration where the Bergens eat Trolls.

Poppy and Branch, two very different trolls, must embark on a journey to Bergen town to save their friends. Along the way they befriend a Bergen who is a maid in the castle. They help her to understand what true happiness is. They hit some bumps along the way, but ultimately the trolls show the Bergens that they too can find happiness inside themselves, which brings joy to Bergen Town.

The songs alone make this movie a 10 out of 10 - its a must watch!
